Mission Viejo Christian School’s (MVCS) third annual Carnival is scheduled for Sunday, October 20, 2019 from noon until 4:00 p.m. on the school’s 11-acre San Doval Lane campus. The school is expecting this family-fun event to be even bigger and better than previous years with more thrilling rides, giant inflatable bounce houses, and scores of carnival booths featuring exciting games, STEM robotic challenge, face painting, and lots of food. The huge three-lane, 40-foot hard slide and swinging chair ride are back by popular demand, along with the dunk tank and pumpkin patch. The free event is open to the public and promises to provide fun for all ages.
The Carnival will conclude with MVCS’s annual Helicopter Golf Ball Drop. A helicopter will land on campus, pick up the numbered golf balls, and then hover overhead before dropping the golf balls from the sky. The owner of the ball that lands in or closest to the target golf hole will be the Grand Prize Winner, winning either $2,500 for non-MVCS families or FREE tuition for the 2020-2021 school year for a family with a child who currently attends MVCS. Golf balls are currently available for sale for $10 each on the school’s carnival website (https://mvcs.accelraising.com) and will also be available for purchase at the Carnival.
Admission to the MVCS Carnival is free. Games, rides, and activities cost from $1 to $5 each. Free parking is available on campus (24701 San Doval Lane in Mission Viejo) and in the surrounding neighborhood.
MVCS currently enrolls over 450 students in grades K-8. The funds earned through the annual Carnival and Helicopter Golf Ball Drop will be used to support tuition assistance programs, benevolence resources for teachers, staff, and school families, and staff development. For more information on the Carnival and opportunities for sponsorship, contact Cindy Williams, MVCS Assistant Development Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 949-465-1950, extension 210.
